A 54-year-old man has been charged after he was found in possession of Class A drugs in Broomhall.
It came after a stop and search was conducted on Exeter Place last Thursday (10 November).
Anthony Brunt, of no fixed address, was found by police to have crack cocaine and they later discovered that he was already wanted for previous drugs offences.
He was arrested and appeared before Sheffield Magistrates Court on Friday 11 November, charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and one count of possession with intent to supply heroin.
Brunt has been remanded in custody and will appear in front of court again on 9 December.
